Services

Four things, done right, every month.

Accounting and bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation, every month, for churches, nonprofits, coal companies, and small businesses across Southeastern Kentucky.

Southeastern Kentucky at golden hour

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Books that are current, clean, and ready for whoever needs to see them.

When the books are right, nobody has to think about them. Bills go out on time, everything lands in the right account, and when the pastor asks how much is in the building fund, you can tell him.

I do the monthly work so it stays that way. If your books have gotten away from you, I bring them current first and then keep them there.

Payroll Services

Everyone paid correctly and on time, with the filings handled.

Payroll is where small mistakes cost real money. Miss a deposit or file a quarterly late and the penalties add up fast. I run payroll on your schedule, keep the deposits and filings current, and take care of the year-end forms.

Your people get paid right and on time, and you don't have to think about it.

Financial Reporting

Statements your board, banker, or pastor can actually read.

Numbers only help if the people making the decisions can read them. Every month you get financial statements built for your organization, with a note from me on what changed and why.

Your board gets what it needs for the meeting, your funders get what they require, and at year end your auditor or tax preparer gets a package that is ready to go.

Bank Reconciliation

Every account tied out, every month.

Reconciling the bank every month is the best control a small organization has. It catches missing deposits, duplicate payments, bank errors, and charges nobody authorized while they are still easy to fix.

I reconcile every bank, credit card, and loan account. If some of them haven't been reconciled in a while, I bring those current too.

Why it matters

A CPA behind the bookkeeping.

Anybody can enter transactions. I spent more than twenty years as an accounting manager and controller for companies with auditors, investors, and the SEC looking over their shoulder. Your books get that same level of care, whether you’re a church with two employees or a mine with two hundred.
